The name of our website is an acronym of Children, Technology, Research, Learning and Families. We do research by engaging with children and families in the interest of how they learn and interact with technology. Our project goal is to create technology that meets their needs.

Our lab is a group of people in the Information School, University of Washington where our mission is to create technology for user empowerment and democratization.

CTRL+F Lab Awarded New

Research Grant 

Alexis Hiniker, Jason Yip, Julie A. Kientz, and Sean Munson were awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) RAPID grant totaling $124,548 for their project titled, “Education, Work, and Life during COVID-19: Supporting Families at Home with Technology.” $41,635 will go toward iSchool PhD support.
